How to choose4 questions

What has to be lit, and to what level? Yards and car parks run 20–50 lux, working areas 100–300 lux, sports and inspection 300 lux and up. The lux target sets the total lumen budget.
Mounting height and throw? Below 8 m use wide beams (100° and up); 8–20 m use 60–90°; long throws from masts or across water use 15–40° optics.
Environment? IP65 for open air, IP66 or higher where hoses or spray are used, marine coating near salt water, and an ATEX-rated unit in classified zones.
Control? Choose 0–10V or DALI if the site dims by schedule or daylight; non-dimmable versions cost less where lights simply switch.
